Sand Springs CAP Early Childhood Strider Bikes

Volunteer opportunity description:

Sand Springs CAP Early Childhood Education school is getting two new Strider Bikes to use for children that need an extra push developing motor skills. Strider Bikes are tiny bikes with no pedals or training wheels. By learning to walk these along, then eventually coast, small children develop motor skills and learn to balance.  We are looking for consistent volunteers who could work with children on these.

We would love to have 2 volunteers, 18 years old or older, come for 2 hours a week, 9:15-11:15, on a weekday, to help these children learn to balance on the Strider Bikes. You'll work with one pre-K child at a time.

Information on Strider Bikes can be found on YouTube, Google, and at striderbikes.com.
