Volunteer opportunity description:
Family Interviewers have the opportunity to work directly with the families in crisis to determine their needs and to provide them with available items. Family Interviewers meet with families EIS serves on an individual basis to find out what brings them to EIS on that day and how we can help. Interviewers go through training and are not released to train until fully comfortable.
Interviewers are needed at East Mondays through Thursdays.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not a requirement.
Volunteer requirements:
Training is required and provided. This is an on-going and, long-term position for a mature, compassionate volunteer.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not a requirement.
Parking and snacks are provided.
