These volunteers deliver Alzheimer’s Association Core Curriculum using prepared training materials on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias as well as information for individuals and families impacted by the disease.
The goal of Alzheimer's Association support groups is to provide emotional, social and/or educational support to group members.
AACRs serve as liaisons between the Alzheimer's Association and local groups such as neighborhoods, rural counties, business and civic organizations or faith communities.
