Tulsa Girls Art School is an after school, social service program that uses art as a vehicle to reach our students. Our students learn entrepreneurialism, fiscal responsibility, art show curation, and public speaking skills during their time here. Our professional art teachers instruct the girls on what it’s like to be an artist in the real world, including the business of art shows, creating a body of work and speaking to art patrons.

The program is not your typical after school arts program!  Compared to other arts programs that might only serve a large number of students at one time or for a select period of time, TGAS provides each of its students with nearly ten years of focused programming and consistent support that begins at the time when the student is enrolled at TGAS in the third-grade through her senior year of high school. Over ten years, Tulsa Girls Art School provides consistency. This program is about more than art, it’s a safe place.

An innovative year-round visual arts program that provides a safe, supportive environment for young talented girls. Our students learn 15 different mediums of art before high school. Throughout the program students have the freedom to further explore the medium they are most interested in. We provide transportation, supplies, space and instruction. The girls bring determination, vision and inspiration.  Beautiful things happen (literally.)
