At Suncrest, we believe that each opportunity with a patient is a gift, and we make the most of the time we get to spend in their company. We strive to go above and beyond for our patients, helping them to check off their bucket list goals while reminding ourselves just how precious our lives are, and how much can be gained by helping others achieve their end-of-life dreams. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us achieve the greatest possible success in this.
Direct Patient Care Services (but not limited to list below)
• Telephone calls to patient/family
• Helping patients/families with household chores
• Mowing a patient's lawn or walking patient's dog
• Case care conference with hospice staff
• Travel time to and from patient home
• Companionship
• Respite Administrative/Clerical Support
• Medical record filing
• Patient information packet assembly
• Answering the telephone
• Data Entry Bereavement support
• Clerical support including phone calls
• Assisting with a support group
