City of Tulsa services reach far beyond the doors of City Hall. The City of Tulsa provides services that affect residents where they live – their neighborhoods, homes and lifestyles.

More than 250 neighborhoods are registered with the Mayor’s Office for Neighborhoods to receive periodic updates on public events and meetings in Tulsa. The City of Tulsa encourages safe neighborhoods friendly to children and pedestrians: speed limits are 25 miles per hour.

Neighborhoods become stronger as more residents become homeowners. If, however, a potential homeowner notices possible discrimination, he or she may contact the City of Tulsa Human Rights Department for help with this and other issues such as equitable employment opportunity.

Many senior adults call Tulsa home, and the Tulsa Area Agency on Aging offers ways to increase quality of life for seniors in our community. From nutrition and social support to legal assistance and help with household chores, TAAA works to provide these and other vital services.
