Tulsa Fire Department The Tulsa Fire Department was organized as a volunteer department on June 6, 1900 and became a four-man paid department on December 6, 1905, two years before statehood. In 1913 Tulsa became the first completely motorized department west of the Mississippi River.

Tulsa Police DepartmentThe Tulsa Police Department will apply all knowledge, skills and available resources by working in partnership with our community to provide quality service, protect life and property, prevent crime and resolve problems so people can live without fear in a safe environment.

Family Safety Center The center provides a single location where victims and their families can quickly and confidentially seek information and resources regarding domestic violence and select services based on individual needs or circumstances.  The Family Safety Center will house on-site a variety of collaborative partners in order to provide clients with easier access to services for victims of domestic violence and will be able to refer clients to many other off-site partners for additional services.
