Spay and Neuter
On March 4, we announced that we will continue to create better outcomes in our neighborhoods by taking steps to shine a light on pet overpopulation in our community. The fact is, nearly 85% of every animal that comes through the doors at our shelter has not been spayed or neutered and we know that pet overpopulation can lead to more abandoned or loose dogs. This is a crisis that demands immediate attention.
Thanks to our Tulsa Animal Services team and community partners, we are implementing a new fine structure for abandoned and unaltered animals, as well as a Discounted Spay/Neuter Voucher Program.
