Pothole PatrolPothole Patrol On Task

Snow and ice, as well as up-and-down temperature cycles create a huge number of potholes on Tulsa streets each winter. Moisture on the pavement and daily freeze-and-thaw cycles are destructive forces on both asphalt and concrete. In the past two weeks, more than 12,000 potholes have been repaired!

Mayor Kathy Taylor has launched the Pothole Patrol program to encourage citizens to report potholes. The number of Pothole Patrol reports and repairs since Jan. 29, 2009 is posted daily on our city website, so you can see both the volume of work performed by City workers and the rapid response to pothole complaints.
